HORMOZ ISLAND

Undoubtedly, Hormoz is one of the most beautiful islands in Iran, it is a colorful, oval island and a salt dome in the Persian Gulf, and because of its proximity to the Strait of Hormuz, it is called the key to the Persian Gulf. With an area of 42 square kilometers, the island is located eight kilometers from Bandar Abbas. The presence of beautiful minerals and rocks has earned the island the title of Geological Museum and Geologists’ Paradise. Some of the sights of Hormoz Island include the Portuguese Castle, the Cave of the Turquoise Salt Goddess, the Rainbow Valley, the Red Beach, the Valley of Sculptures and the Dr. Nadalian Museum.
