HISTORICAL TEXTURE OF YAZD:
This traditional and historical texture is one of the most unique examples of desert architecture in the world. In the architecture of houses and alleys, it is intended for wind and sunlight. Each house has sections that include: outside and inside of the yard, bed, hall, windbreak, entrance, porch, separate rooms for various daily tasks, kitchen, water storage. One of the most attractive parts of any house is having natural ventilation systems called windbreaks, which are considered as valves for air entry and by these windbreaks, the air temperature is controlled and causes these houses to cool down.
Other attractions of the historical buildings of Yazd include water reservoirs, which include a covered pool and are built in the basement of the houses, the roof and dome of which are brick or brick, and the water inside these reservoirs in full seasons. Rain is collected and stored to be used when it is low, all of these features are to help city residents to avoid extreme heat in the desert region of Yazd
