Larak Island is one of the islands of Iran in the Persian Gulf and part of Hormozgan province.
Lark Island, with an area of ​​8 square kilometers, is located 18 nautical miles from the provincial capital of Bandar Abbas and 6 nautical miles from Qeshm, in the southeast of the city, in the Strait of Hormuz. The island is composed of conical volcanic mountains.
Its highest point is 138 meters above sea level and its largest diameter is 10.6 kilometers. There is no agricultural activity on the island and the only economic activity of most of the people of Lark Island is fishing and diving.
The population of the island is estimated at 200 to 300 households and the native dialect of the people of Lark is the name of Kumzari which is also used in parts of Oman.
